Community Engagements in Kilifi County to identify and improve Informal Settlement Investments’ Priorities

The Second Kenya Informal Settlements Improvement Project (KISIP2) is a flagship Government of Kenya initiative supported by the World Bank, Agence Française de Développement (AFD), and the European Commission. The project seeks to improve access to basic services, enhance land tenure security, and strengthen institutional capacity for slum upgrading.

It is implemented under four components: Integrated Settlement Upgrading, Socio-Economic Inclusion Planning, Institutional Capacity Development for Slum Upgrading, and Program Management and Coordination.In Kilifi County, KISIP2 is supporting Community Development Plan (CDP) implementation in six informal settlements: Baya Magonzi, Mtaani, Kibaoni, Kalolo, Kisumu Ndogo, and Muyeye Phase 1.

Keeping Alive Societies Hope (KASH) has been engaged by the Government to provide consultancy services for this assignment.
