Management Team

Thomas Abol, Executive Director: Holds a Master’s Degree. He brings into the project over 20 years’ experience in program leadership, advocacy and social marketing. He is strong advocate of the marginalized communities in Kenya and has championed the involvement of law enforcement agents in supporting sexual minorities in Kenya.

Martha Opilli, Program Manager: Martha is an Experienced Program Technical Expert with a bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences from Makerere University. I am also trained in Results-Based Management by Africa Capacity Alliance (ACA). Martha also has a certificate in the Legal Empowerment and Leadership course that I attended in Hungary – CEU. Martha is a Programs Manager at Kenya, Keeping Alive Societies’ Hope (KASH) whose mandate is to improve the quality of lives of the vulnerable and marginalized people. She has worked as a program manager for over ten years .She is committed to amplifying women’s voices in all relevant spaces that she can access.

Jenipher Ojwang, KASH Finance Manager: Possess a university degree and accountancy qualifications (CPA-K) with over ten (10) years’ experience in managing multi-million donor funds. She is passionate about financial management, budgeting, budget monitoring and donor compliance for optimal value to the final beneficiaries of the funds received by KASH. She has successfully managed over 300 million from many donors including: OSIEA/OSF , UNDP, Grand Challenges Canada, NCIC, Uhai, USAID-shiriki project, USAID Keti-LDO, Namati, JOOUST, UNODC,JHPIEGO, Amkeni Wakenya, AHADI, FHI 360 Sades-K project,  FHI 360- Kpif project,  FHI360-linkages project, PATH-Afya Ziwani project,  Swedish Amnesty, Ylabs, Kios, ACA, PATH-Aphia-Plus, Planet Romeo, Robert Carr.
